2013 Roswell Recreation and Parks Online
Registration Process
Roswell Recreation and Parks registration is required to swim with the
Rapids. Roswell Rec fees for the Rapids are $92 per swimmer for Roswell residents
($138 for non-residents) and paid directly to Roswell Rec.
Online registration and In-person registration for the 2013 season is now open
for Roswell residents (registration opens Monday, February 11th for
non-residents) - see instructions below.
In-person registration can be done at the Bill Johnson Community Activity
Building (BJCAB) at the Roswell Area Park begins (the building attached to the
pool).
Select "Residents" from the main
horizontal menu, and then "Recreation
&
Parks Program Brochure" which is around the middle of the
"Residents" menu.
Look for the "Online Program Registration"
section at the top of the resulting page and click on the link entitled "Register
for a Program\Shelter".
If you already have an account with the
Roswell Rec (i.e. you've registered online for a
Rec program previously), then enter you username
and password. If you've forgotten your password,
look beneath the username and password text
boxes for the "Forgot your password" link.
If you've never registered for a program
online with the Roswell Rec, then look
underneath the username/password text boxes for
the link by "Need an account". That link will
take you to the account registration page.
Once you are logged in, use the
"keyword search" function to search for "swim
team"
and the search result should show
"45030-01" for "Rapids Rapids".
Click on the
"add to cart" icon on the far right
(to the left of the "available" icon) and a new window should appear at the bottom of
the browser with "Enroll Now" button.
When you click on the "Enroll Now" button,
you should see all members of you household.
Click on the check boxes next to the members
to enroll and then click the "Add to Cart"
button at the bottom of the screen. Note, if the
swimmer has never registered for a class online,
you will need to call the Rec Online help desk
at 770-641-3705 to request that person be added
to your household account.
Click on the "Agree" button to
acknowledge your approval of the activity waiver.
You can add another diver to the enrollment by
clicking on the "Continue Shopping" button.
If you are ready to pay for the class, click on
"Proceed to Checkout".
You will see a charge of $92.00 per diver
for Roswell residents and $138 per swimmer for
non-residents.
Select your "Credit Card" type from
the dropdown, input your credit card type and
click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the
page.
Input your credit card info on the ensuing
page and click on the "Submit Payment" button at
the bottom of the page.
Please do not click the back button while it
is processing your credit card or it might get
double charged.
Once the transaction is complete, there will
be a link to "View Confirmation Receipt (in .PDF
format)" on the ensuing page and you will also
receive an email confirmation
